Supercharging System For The 2002 GM 8.1L Heavy Duty Truck

Paxton Automotive announces the 2002 8.1L GM Heavy Duty Truck Supercharging System. The 8.1 engine from the factory produces 340 horsepower and 455 lb./ft. of torque. The addition of the NOVI 1200 supercharger with air to water charge cooler increases horsepower to 460 and torque to 605 lb./ft.

System details:

  • Boost Pressure of 6-7 psig
  • NOVI 1200 supercharger with 3.33" drive pulley
  • Complete fuel system upgrade includes replacement high-flow fuel injectors and supplemental high-flow fuel pump
  • DiabloSport Predator hand held programmer to modify timing and fuel enrichment
  • Air to water charge cooler system features welded aluminum charge cooler core with discharge tubes, Bosch compressor bypass valve, water storage tank with hoses, clamps and plumbing and a compact water circulation pump for closed loop cooling
  • Molded air filter cover with Paxton Logo keeps OEM appearance
  • Oil feed and Oil drain assemblies allow for maintenance free operation
  • Tools included for simple modification of oil pan for supercharger drain fitting installation
  • Billet aluminum supercharger mounting bracket assembly includes idler, spring tensioner, drive belt and all hardware
  • 50-State smog legal per CARB EO# D-195-19
  • 3-year limited warranty on the NOVI 1200 Supercharger
